- Develop, coordinate, manage and supervise the implementation & maintenance occupational health and safety program/policies for oil & gas, marine and general industries
- Formulate and implement environment, health & safety standards and programs
- Arrange and conduct in-house safety training and provide guidance/register relevant staff for Clients’ required HSE Training (e.g. Offshore HSE, BOSET, etc.)
- Conduct fire drills, safety inspections and meetings as member of safety committee
- Ensure environment, health and safety policies are observed and planned activities are carried out
- Willing to travel
Requirements:
- Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety or related education
- Min 2 years experience in occupational safety and health field
- Good communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to work effectively with a team and independently with minimum supervision. Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must have a Safety & Health Officer Cert from NIOSH and must be registered with DOSH
- Well versed with Occupational Health & Safety Act
